We hope you had an amazing November! This was the least we have ever posted for No Straw November for a multitude of reasons. On the personal side, this year has been rough with the loss of my beloved grandmother. Managing grief and grad school has been a lot to say the least. I deeply appreciate your continuous support regardless of our posting schedule. I hope you all have a happy holiday season full of joy.
During the holiday season it is easy to overconsume plastic and seasonal items. While we do not want you to limit your happiness, we encourage you all to take a moment before your eager buy items. Items of all prices can become investment items you plan to keep around multiple seasons. As someone who has broken an ornament or two, it can be hard to keep festive items year-round. Our only hope is to create mindful consumers regardless of month. Try wrapping any gifts you have in reusable materials such as fabric or recyclable paper to generate less waste after the holidays. We understand that this can be a hard season and we appreciate you doing your best throughout it.
