Jr Ocean Guardians Earth Day 2018 & Global Youth Service at the Watsonville Celebration of the Child

On Earth Day 2018, Jr Ocean Guardians joined the City of Watsonville for their Earth Day ~ Celebration of the Child event and made almost 1,000 eco-friendly jellyfish! While making these adorable jellyfish, we shined the light on how easy it is for turtles to mistake plastic bags for jellies. It was a great way to connect and make the lesson personal. All the kids understood the importance of protecting our oceans and our future is bright!
